To recharge the battery, you just need to unscrew the bottom dust cover and attach the micro USB cable. Once plugged into a power source, a full charge will take between 5-10 hours. A secondaer USB port next top the micro USB port can also be used to charge an electronic device, using the torches battery as a power bank. 

Lumens: refers to the amount of light or light energy that is actually radiated from a light source. The higher the figure the brighter the torch.
